Where is Ledyard High School?
- Have a sincere interest in agriculture
- Complete an application and submit by December 31st (See your school counselor)
- Schedule an interview with one of the Agri-Science staff

Is it required that I be an FFA member?
- All Agri-Science students are highly encouraged to be an active FFA member so they can become leaders within their community, their state and nation. Go to www.ffa.org for more information.
Is it required that I have an Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project?
- Yes, all Agri-Science students are required to develop an acceptable agriculturally related project that takes place either before school, after school, weekends, vacations, etc. Refer to the SAE tab for more detailed information.
- SAE is worth 20% of the students Agri-Science grade.
How many credits is the Agri-Science & Technology class?
- 1 credit for Ag I (meets every other day for the whole year)
- 2 credits for Ag II, III & IV (meets every day for the whole year)
- Agri-Science class are considered elective course for all students
How am I transported to Ledyard High School?
- If you are a Ledyard resident, you will take the bus that you would normally take to LHS
- If you are an out of district student, you will contact your local bus company and ask them where and when drop off and pick up is located
What is the attendance policy?
- No student may receive credit for a full credit course after being absent from that course fourteen (14) class periods.
- No student may receive credit for a half credit course after being absent from that course seven (7) class periods.

Can I participate in the Music Program or Athletics if I am an out of district student?
- Yes! When you become a student in the Agri-Science Program, you are fully enrolled as a Ledyard High School student and can participate in all the extracurricular and intracurricular activities that we offer.
- Yes! After you have submitted your completed application, contact Mrs. Hepburn to set up the experience and provide you with the necessary paperwork to do so
